NMAT 2017: Importance and Registration Process

Gateway to MBA programmes at NMIMS Mumbai, XIMB, VIT and number of other B-schools, NMAT 2017 exam online registration is open till October 3 without late fee. Late Registration will remain open till October 16, 2017. The 5 step registration process for NMAT can be completed in 10-15 minutes. Step by Step Registration for NMAT 2017 :

The site to register for the NMAT 2017 Exam lies on the site at nmat.org.in

Step-1: New user
To register for NMAT 2017, click on “Register Now” on the site at nmat.org.in. The facility is available in the Quick Links on the right side of the screen and enter a valid email ID. Click on “No, I am a new user”. New user registration details will open, enter your first and last name and choose a password. Click on “Register and Sign In” button. You need to create an account on nmat.org.in using a valid email address to register and apply for NMAT 2017.

Step-2: Validate Email Id
A new window will appear at NMAT 2017 registration site, prompting you to complete the online application form. An authentication email will be sent to the email you provided from NMAT by GMAC. You will be able to proceed with registration only after validating your email ID.

Step-3: Complete NMAT 2017 Online Form
Now you will need to complete the NMAT 2017 online application form related to your personal, educational and work experience. Choose the schools to send your scores under the “Programme Details” section. Up to 5 programmes are included in your NMAT 2017 registration fee. An additional fee of INR 200+ applicable taxes will be applied for each programme added in excess of 5 programmes.

To understand and proceed with the NMAT 2017 registration process, refer the “Registration Guide” available with registration form. You must read the Terms and Conditions and click on the “I Agree” button to accept.

Step-4: Submit
Click on the Submit button to complete your NMAT 2017 registration. But remember to review your NMAT application carefully before submitting the form. Once the “Submit” button is clicked for the registration form of NMAT 2017, no other changes can be made except “Update Programme Selection/ Retake” and “Update Candidate Preferences” sections.

The next screen will display your unique NMAT Registration Number.

Step-5: Make Payment
Pay the applicable exam fee for successful completion of NMAT 2017 registration.
Click on the “Click here to make payment” link that appears along with the NMAT 2017 Registration Number. The Make Payment screen will display the payment options. You can make online Payment through Visa or MasterCard Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking/American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets towards NMAT 2017 registration fee. Follow the instructions on the website after choosing the card option.

After successful NMAT 2017 registration, you will receive an email with your unique NMAT Registration Number. You should use this NMAT 2017 Registration Number for all future correspondence with GMAC.
